Schedule Overview Clinic Coverage: 4–5 days per week Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Patient Contact Hours: 6 per day Clinic Days per Month: 8 On Call: Yes (schedule to be confirmed) Procedures/OR: None Practice Details Setting: Inpatient and outpatient Hematology/Oncology Inpatient Coverage: Yes, across two hospital sites in Des Moines Outreach: Potential coverage in Newton, IA (~6 days per month) Telehealth: Yes Daily Clinic Volume: 10–30 patients Average Inpatient Census: 10–15 Appointment Times: New consults: 40 minutes Follow-ups: 20 minutes Nursing Support: 1:1 APP Supervision: Not required EMR: Epic Imaging, Lab & Pharmacy: Onsite Scope of Services New patient evaluations and treatment planning Ongoing chemotherapy management Adjustments to treatment plans Referrals for ancillary services Pain and symptom management End-of-life and palliative care coordination (Radiation and surgical oncology services are provided by established partner teams.)
