About the Role The Learning & Development Specialist will work hand in hand with the Learning & Development Manager to create and maintain a rich learning culture for all our employees. This is your opportunity to bring to life a passion for developing others both professionally & personally. This role will be primarily responsible for the following priorities while supporting our People & Culture team's people first philosophy. What You Will Do Assist Learning & Development Manager to design and execute a compelling learning strategy to drive team member & hotel performance. Work with leadership to schedule and organize a diverse set of learning offerings annually for all levels of staff. Support the Learning & Development manager in assessing learning needs, design & implementation of custom solutions, and evaluating effectiveness. Facilitate learning programs including orientation, departmental onboarding, service culture, and new manager programs. Support learning initiatives with program branding and hotel wide communications. Ensure all facets of compliance training are completed within corporate driven time frames. Attend & facilitates shift briefings to support operational learnings. Assist with Standards Testing and collating reports on a monthly basis. Work with the People & Culture department to maintain positive employee relations and assist with overall P&C functions to ensure the success of the department.
