Senior Acquisition and Merger Analyst

Job Description The Senior Acquisition and Merger Analyst has a significant role supporting Mergers & Acquisitions activities, including the strategic and financial evaluation of potential and active targets, financial modeling, business case development, and project support for deal activity. Position Details: Supports the Corporate Development team across all phases of deal activity - deal sourcing, due diligence and post-close integration Assists with the strategic evaluation, detailed financial modeling, valuation, and development of buy and sell side M&A business cases Supports the development of evaluation and diligence work plans Participates in the creation and development of deal documents and management presentations Develops and prepares presentations on the results of research and analysis of acquisition targets for use by Senior Management. Supports the corporate development sourcing process by collaborating across functions to identify, prioritize, and pursue opportunities Supports deal pipeline development by researching potential acquisition targets. Research activities to include target sectors, geographies, and specific companies using primary and secondary source research methods Job Requirements Bachelor's degree required Master's degree preferred 2 years of experience in M&A with either an investment back, private equity or corporate development group 2 years of experience with financial and business analysis/modeling/forecasting, especially as used in M&A. Able to build valuation models Ability to analyze and interpret financial data Demonstrates analytical skills Demonstrates problem solving skills Excellent interpretation of complex statistical data Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion
