We are seeking a Board Certified or truly Board Eligible Anesthesiologist for a 52-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Apr 13, 2026. This opportunity involves weekday shifts with 8-hour days plus call, and requires comfort with pediatric cases and supervision of CRNAs. Specific weeks and call requirements detailed below: Apr 13–17, 2026: 1 weekday call (Apr 15) Apr 20–24, 2026: 1 weekday call (Apr 21) Apr 27–May 8, 2026: 3 weekday calls (Apr 29, May 5, May 6), 1 full weekend call (7 am May 1 to 7 am May 4) May 11–22, 2026: 5 weekday calls (May 11, 13, 18, 19, 20), 1 full weekend call (7 am May 15 to 7 am May 18) May 25–Jun 5, 2026: 5 weekday calls (May 26, 27, Jun 1, 2, 3), 1 full weekend call (7 am May 29 to 7 am Jun 1) Jun 8–15, 2026: 3 weekday calls (Jun 8, 9, 10), 1 full weekend call (7 am Jun 12 to 7 am Jun 15) Jun 15–22, 2026: 5 weekday calls (Jun 15, 16, 17, 18, 19), 1 full weekend call (7 am Jun 19 to 7 am Jun 22) Jun 22–Jul 3, 2026: 2 weekday calls (Jun 22, 29), 1 full weekend call (7 am Jun 26 to 7 am Jun 29) Responsibilities and Duties Provide anesthesia care for a diverse patient population, including pediatric cases Supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) Participate in scheduled weekday and weekend call coverage as assigned Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards Collaborate effectively with surgical and perioperative teams Maintain accurate and timely patient records Additional Information Must hold an active New York medical license Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (preferred at submission, but one may be obtained post-offer if needed) Must be Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Anesthesiology Experience with pediatric anesthesia is required Assignment may continue through 2026 if a good fit Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
