Position Title: Business Services and Accounting Assistant Location: Moorhead Employment Type: Hourly Non-Exempt General Employment Period: January through December General Work Schedule (days of week): Monday - Friday General shift hours: 8 am to 5 pm Job Summary: The Business Services and Accounting Assistant is responsible for providing excellent, professional customer service, managing cash handling operations for the college, and supporting various financial and administrative functions within the Business Office and Dining Services. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle numerous concurrent tasks. Additionally, this position works collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, and external vendors to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes. Job Duties/What You'll Do Front Line Customer Services and Cash Handling Accounting Support Assist with the Purchasing Card Program Administrative Duties What We're Looking For Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Providing customer service that inspires trust and confidence. Excellent organizational oral and written skills. Ability to handle numerous concurrent tasks. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Work effectively in a team environment with a diverse group of people. Ability to organize, prioritize and ensure deadlines are met. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications: Cash Handling and Bank Teller cashier experience. Knowledge of basic accounting skills. Data base systems experience.
