Registered Respiratory Therapist Austin, TX, 78723 - Onsite 3 months+ ContractExperience Level: 1-3 yearsDepartment: Respiratory Care Shift Timings: 18:30 - 07:00 Monday to Friday (3 Days/12 Hours) Per Week: 36 Hours.Roles & Responsibilities Assess patient for appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develops a plan of care based on diagnosis. Implement and monitor patient care plan and equipment. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition. Perform advanced respiratory care modalities. Evaluate respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcome. Educate the patient and family about the health condition and provides information about community support groups and other available programs. Respond to emergency resuscitation team code. Minimum Qualifications Minimum 2 years PICU, NICU, or CVICU experience required Must have BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, RRT and RCP Required Skills Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Traveler Registered Respiratory Therapist Certifications & Clearance Requirements Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
