We are looking for an experienced P-Card Program Manager II that can multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a continuous improvement mindset all while providing excellent customer service! This position manages King County's Purchasing Card (P-Card) Program and Team that handles over 1,000 P-Cards and maintenance for almost 2,000 Travel Cards. We are the number one program in both dollars spent and reimbursements in Washington State. The Program Manager II will work in a collaborative environment, but also independent in owning and driving their tasks and project! We are looking for someone who is a team player, in a fast-paced environment who provides excellent customer service to support both internal and external customers. Scope of Job Duties Owns and drive compliance with all cardholders via weekly emails Work with P-Card cardholders and P-Card coordinators to reconcile iExpense transactions weekly Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills Work collaborative and back-up with the P-Card Program Manager III Monitor the integration of P-Card transaction data into the Oracle financial system Identify and resolve problems with P-Cards Work closely with County agencies to ensure compliance with County-wide policies, King County Code and procedures for use of P-Card Assist with reporting needs both externally and internally Process P-Card applications and assist with any training needs Assist with monitoring the P-Card inbox and booking hours Minimum Qualifications Twoyears of experience working on a large P-Card program and team members and stakeholders to improve performance and processes Experience with having a P-Card and reconciling P-Card Transactions Demonstrated skill in technical writing and proofreading Experience working with Oracle, banking, and interface Experience supporting training programs Strong communication, interpersonal, writing and customer service skills experience Intermediate level of technology proficiency using MS Office Productivity tools in your daily work Ability to manage your time and adapt to changing priorities, work on multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, meet quick deadlines, and produce timely and quality work products. Ability to work with people from diverse background We would love it if you have: Over six years of increasing responsibility in program management, or public purchasing activities with a minimum of two years' working experience in a public procurement environment Advanced interpersonal skills and experience with resolving conflict and finding resolution while keeping the program in compliance Experience analyzing data and conducting research, and producing program reports Experience with Lean process and principles Experience with SharePoint, MS Teams and other collaborative online tools The Procurement & Payables Section is part of the larger Finance and Business Operations Division portfolio of countywide services. Position Information: Work Site Details: The team works in a hybrid model, with days in the office as well as telecommuting. Location Requirement: Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements. Work Schedule: This position is non-exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and therefore is overtime eligible. Employees are paid on a bi-weekly schedule, every other Thursday, comprising a 40-hour workweek; normally 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Employees will be provided with a county-issued laptop and must maintain a home workspace with an internet connection where they can reliably perform work.
