We are rapidly expanding our services throughout San Diego County and are looking for adept, compassionate, board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to join our team. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with an advanced degree for Psychiatric Nurse (PMHNP-BC) License to practice in California as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner including 2N, 2N DEA license. Have experience working with SPMI or chemical dependence populations. Experience working in an acute care setting is a plus. At least 2 years working experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required for credentialing purposes. Responsibilities: Conduct Initial Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation Provide 1:1 Medication management; and psychiatric assessments. Documentation in EMR Provide psychiatric care under the advice and support of a seasoned Psychiatrist. Work collaboratively with medical staff. Will mainly support our Crisis Stabilization Unit at Henry Mayo NewHall Hospital located in Valencia, CA.
