Coordinator Trainee This Trainee position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of our business, including Customer Service, the Building and Lumber Center, and the Warehouse. As a Trainee, you will be introduced to our products, services, and day-to-day operations, providing a well-rounded understanding of our business. This role is designed to prepare you for future career opportunities within the company, such as a Customer Service Coordinator or other advancement roles. Responsibilities include: Main responsibility is to learn our products, service and business systems while working in various roles throughout the business. Actively participate in hands-on rotation training across key departments including Customer Service, Building and Lumber Center, and Warehouse operations. Timing and rotations will be dependent on management & business demand, but typically last approximately 2 weeks. Observe and assist with day-to-day tasks to gain a working knowledge of company products, systems, and processes Learn to identify and understand customer needs to provide quality service and support. Support team members by completing assigned tasks under supervision, with a focus on learning correct procedures and safety practices. Develop product knowledge by working closely with experienced staff and engaging in on-the-job learning. Assist with inventory handling, stocking, order picking, and receiving to understand warehouse workflow. Shadow Customer Service team members to gain insight into sales support, customer inquiries, and service coordination. Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn from feedback and training. Prepare to transition into future roles by building foundational knowledge and demonstrating commitment to the company's values and service standards. Process and coordinate orders. Input and update information into our company database accurately and efficiently. Managing PO's. Other administrative duties as requested. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required, Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience in an administrative role a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, specifically Excel. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Experience with building industry programs such as Blue Beam, or 20/20 Kitchen Design a plus.
