Traveling field service technician - southeast

Drive your career forward-literally. We are seeking a versatile Field Service Technician for a role that is 100% travel, primarily serving our customer base throughout the Southeastern United States. If you are a technical "jack-of-all-trades" who thrives on the road and loves working with your hands, this is your next move. The Highlights Travel: 100% travel required. You will be on the road visiting customer sites across the Southeast. Pay: Competitive base + all overtime over 40 hours paid at time-and-a-half. Perks: $75/day per diem, company car, company credit card, and all hotels paid by the company. The Schedule: Generally Thursday/Friday through Monday/Tuesday (Peak service window). The Role: A high-impact mix of heavy mechanical work and precision electrical calibration. What You Need Mechanical Mastery: Proficient in welding, grinding, cutting, and precision installation. Electrical Expertise: Experience wiring circuits and calibrating PLCs or weighing systems. Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret complex technical diagrams and schematics. Clean Record: Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Bilingual Skills: Ability to speak and understand Spanish is a plus. Ready to Hit the Road? If you have the technical grit and the customer-focused attitude to represent an industry leader, we want to hear from you! salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: High School Responsibilities Performs a full range of servicing and repair service procedures including diagnostics, installation, removal and retrofits on a core set of equipment. lnteracts with external customers for the purpose of determining service needs on equipment and ensuring overall high level of customer satisfaction with the service performed. Serves as a role model and exhibits professional appearance and behavior at all times, under the most difficult situations. Completes all required administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner. Assists on training new hires and customer maintenance personnel. Proactively seeks ways to improve things. Recommends machine improvement ideas and suggestions for continuous product improvement Assists Site Manager with planning installs and rebuilds. Works with customer support on adjustment manuals and updating trouble-shooting guides.
