Job Description The summer park attendant ensures that facilities and restrooms are clean and available to the public. The position monitors and enforces city and park rules and provides assistance to general park users and those reserving picnic shelters. The summer season is May 23 to September 7, 7 days a week, between the hours of 9 am and 9 pm. Hopkins park locations are Valley, Oakes, Cottageville and Burnes; Minnetonka park locations are Gro-Tonka and Lone Lake. Duties/ResponsibilitiesProvide maintenance to parks including cleaning of restrooms, picnic tables, trash removal and care of surrounding area Provide assistance and customer service to park patrons and those with picnic reservations Transport supplies and needed services from one location to another, as needed Open and close park facilities at scheduled times Act as a positive representative for Hopkins-Minnetonka Recreation Services QualificationsAge 16 or older Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Ability to follow all policies and procedures Ability to work with and serve a diverse population A commitment to and belief in the organization's shared values Additional Information Perks: -Spend time outdoors -Make positive impact by keeping parks/open spaces clean -Interact with members of the community -Flexible schedule Not Sure You Meet All the Qualifications?
