Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation. This role is ideal for a technologist who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about driving DevOps maturity across the enterprise. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesArchitect and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure reliable and secure software delivery. Lead DevOps strategy and advocate for continuous improvement and automation. Manage build and deployment processes across Development, QA, Staging, and Production environments. Implement and maintain change management workflows and source control practices. Partner with architects to embed operational excellence into system design. Mentor junior engineers and lead internal DevOps communities of practice. Define and track key DevOps metrics (e.g., deployment frequency, lead time, MTTR). Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and ensure compliance with governance standards. Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, including CI/CD, configuration management, and cloud infrastructure. Expertise in Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud, Terraform, Azure yaml pipelines, and PowerShell. Bash experience is a plus. Strong understanding of DevOps principles and best practices. Familiarity with Git, Visual Studio, and Microsoft SQL Server. Basic Knowledge of coding languages including C#, HTML, and JavaScript Basic knowledge of programming practices and procedures Basic knowledge of databases (Microsoft SQL Server) and operating systems (Windows) Working knowledge of IIS Preferred SkillsExperience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of observability tools (Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana). Exposure to DevSecOps practices and compliance frameworks.
