Position Overview: The Traveling Construction Superintendent will play a pivotal role in planning, managing, and executing various aspects of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include overseeing material and equipment logistics, aiding in workforce management, ensuring complete documentation, and working toward timely and profitable project completions. This role requires travel to assigned projects. Key Responsibilities: Foster a safety-first culture, mentoring staff towards maintaining an injury-free environment. Manage subcontractors and overall job organization. Oversee the performance of company staff and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Develop and manage work plans for self-performed work. Coordinate project site management. Lead daily and weekly project meetings. Implement and manage project schedules effectively. Communicate critical project information to stakeholders. Support procurement and cost management processes. Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion within the organization. Qualifications: 5+ years of construction experience. 3+ years in field supervision. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field is preferred. Experience with Lean principles is a plus. Working Environment: Must have a valid driver's license. Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Willingness to travel and/or relocate as needed.
