Hillwood's centralized Human Resources department is seeking to add a driven and strategic Recruiter to join our growing Talent Acquisition team in our corporate headquarters located in Dallas, Texas. This on-site role offers full ownership of the recruitment lifecycle, from requisition intake and sourcing through offer negotiation and onboarding. You will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, including executive stakeholders, helping them attract and secure high-caliber talent in a competitive market. We are seeking a recruiting professional who goes beyond filling roles. This individual will influence talent strategy, build strong partnerships across the organization, and deliver a best-in-class candidate experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, exercises strong business judgment, and approaches talent acquisition with a strong sense of service, urgency, and thoughtfulness. Responsibilities: Own the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned roles, including intake meetings, sourcing strategy development, candidate evaluation, stakeholder consultation, offer development and negotiation, and onboarding support Conduct structured, competency-based interviews to assess candidate skills, experience, and organizational alignment Present qualified candidates to hiring teams with clear evaluations and data-informed recommendations Manage interview logistics and guide hiring teams through a consistent, thorough selection process Lead offer discussions in partnership with HR and hiring leaders to ensure competitive, timely offer delivery Stakeholder Partnership and Advisory: Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand talent needs, define role requirements, and align hiring strategies with business objectives Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and executive stakeholders by providing market insights, compensation guidance, and talent availability trends Influence hiring decisions through sound business judgment, thoughtful consultation, and data-informed recommendations Sourcing, Candidate Experience and Brand: Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to attract active and passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, AI-enabled tools, networking, referrals, and other innovative channels Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs Provide a high-touch, white-glove experience for candidates by maintaining proactive communication, setting clear expectations, and ensuring a high-quality, efficient hiring process Deliver an exceptional candidate experience that reflects Hillwood's brand, values, and commitment to excellence Support employer branding initiatives and contribute to a positive external perception of Hillwood as an employer of choice Technology, Data and Improvement: Leverage recruiting technologies, including UKG and CRM platforms, to enhance efficiency, reporting, and candidate engagement Identify, evaluate, and recommend emerging recruiting technologies and AI-enabled tools that improve sourcing, screening, workflow automation, and reporting Track and analyze recruiting metrics to assess effectiveness, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement Maintain accurate documentation and workflow management within recruiting systems Support broader Talent Acquisition initiatives and process optimization efforts that elevate the overall recruiting function Required Skills and Abilities: Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to establish credibility and trust with hiring managers, executive stakeholders, and candidates Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and advise at multiple levels Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruitment across multiple searches in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn quickly and navigate new business functions and industries Strong business acumen and judgment leveraged to assess talent and provide clear hiring recommendations Experience with proactive sourcing strategies, including social media recruiting and passive candidate engagement Ability to conduct structured, competency-based interviews and evaluate candidates objectively Ability to analyze recruiting data and contribute to reporting and process improvement efforts Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities Professional discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree required 2 to 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience within a corporate or similarly professional environment Minimum of 2 years of in-house recruiting experience Experience leading full-cycle recruitment across diverse business functions and levels, from individual contributors to senior leadership Demonstrated success managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, high-volume setting Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter; familiarity with CRM tools preferred Experience with competency-based interviewing and structured hiring practices Industry recruiting experience in real estate, financial services, or related sectors strongly preferred EEO Statement: Hillwood is committed to providing Equal Opportunity in Employment, to all applicants and employees regardless of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, military status, veteran status, handicap, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law.
