YOUR DAY TO DAY: Precision mechanical assembly of machine parts into fixtures for brazing and welding operations using technical drawings and procedures. YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR: Precision mechanical assembly. Working with smaller parts using microscopes or magnifiers may be required. Perform other duties as needed and assigned. YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE: High School Diploma or equivalent. 5 - 8 years experience. Ability to work in a Mechanical Assembly clean manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and follow document procedures. Basic computer skills using MS Outlook, Excel and Word. Familiar with basic mechanical tooling, and measurement equipment (hand tools, dial calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.) Good manual dexterity. The ability to work with smaller parts using microscopes or magnifiers. Knowledge/experience with ceramics, precious metal handling, furnace operations and Leak Testing experience preferred. Self-motivating, detail oriented and willing to learn new processes. This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a "U.S. Person" as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
