Job Description Join our dynamic pharmacy team where your expertise as a Floater Pharmacist will contribute to providing exceptional customer service in a safe and welcoming environment. Responsibilities Deliver outstanding customer service that makes every customer feel welcome and valued. Maintain professionalism, exhibit a positive attitude, and represent the company well, both in person and on social media. Administer immunizations to customers according to organizational protocols. Execute clinical services efficiently while managing your caseload. Dispense medications accurately based on prescriptions while adhering to laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Compound medications using established formulas and processes. Validate prescriptions for accuracy, including ingredients and formulas necessary for preparation. Check new medications against patient profiles to prevent drug interactions before dispensing. Supervise the work of Pharmacy Technicians and Interns, ensuring all assembled prescriptions meet accuracy standards. Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager on special promotions. Engage with the pharmacy team to maintain appropriate inventory levels and manage recalls effectively. Stay current on ongoing promotions and special advertisements. Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws regarding licensing renewal. Implement established procedures for quality assurance and the secure handling of controlled substances. Proactively report any incidences of theft, robbery, or fraud. Support the upkeep and proper functioning of pharmacy equipment. Adhere to safety protocols and address any hazardous conditions promptly. Report any accidents involving customers or employees to management immediately. Be flexible with scheduling to fill business unit open shifts as needed. Communicate relevant special programs and information to team members. Comply with all company policies and agreements. Work as part of a team to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Perform all essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications Must hold a valid Pharmacist license in good standing. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required. Strong written and verbal communication skills essential. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. Valid driver's license with a willingness to travel as needed.
