The SM-3 IB Production portfolio is seeking an experienced program controls analyst to support an anticipated large-scale, multi-year production contract. This role will own cost, schedule, and Earned Value execution for assigned program scope and partner closely with Program Management to sustain strong cost and schedule performance throughout the contract lifecycle. The position will support early contract planning activities including technology refresh efforts, obsolescence mitigation strategy, long-lead material planning, and baseline development for the upcoming contract period. This is an opportunity to influence financial execution strategy at the outset of a new production phase while building upon an established record of performance. This position is currently designated as onsite from one of the following Raytheon locations: Portsmouth, RI, Tucson, AZ, McKinney TX, Andover, MA, Marlborough, DC, Aurora, CO, Dulles, VA, Forest, MS, Tewksbury, MA, or Indianapolis, IN. Relocation benefits not offered. What You Will Do The selected candidate will operate with independence and exercise sound judgment in forecasting, risk identification, and financial planning. Provide thorough cost and schedule analysis. Coordinate the development of quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC). Provide financial guidance and solutions to Program Team and Leads. Prepare finance charts for Program Management Reviews, monthly operating reviews, financial overviews and other reporting activities as required. Provide cost, schedule, financial analysis/reporting, funding planning, maintenance utilizing standard company tools and processes. Implementation and Maintenance of Earned Value Management. Provide financial guidance and solutions to Program Team and Leads. Contribute to the development and delivery of Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs). Guiding efforts for effective completion of Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), and Internal Surveillance Reviews (ISRs). Establish and maintain program logs (Work Authorization, Contract Mod Log, R&Os). What You Will Learn How to shape financial execution strategy at the outset of a major production contract phase within a mature defense portfolio. Advanced forecasting and EAC methodologies across a complex, multi-year production environment. Integration of technology refresh and obsolescence mitigation into established production baselines. Long-lead material planning and funding strategy in coordination with Supply Chain and Operations. Executive-level communication of program financial performance and risk posture. Cross-functional influence within a matrixed organization supporting large-scale defense production. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience is required. Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain) in program development and execution. Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both verbally and in written form. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to meet critical deadlines and work in team environment to provide solution and continuous process improvement. Demonstrated ability to be proactive, creative, and innovative and use critical and strategic thinking. Advance Excel skills including Power Query knowledge.
