Key Responsibilities Perform a variety of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, pelvic, musculoskeletal, and vascular studies Operate ultrasound equipment with precision, optimizing settings for accurate image capture Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper positioning throughout the examination Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to interpret ultrasound findings Accurately document imaging results and patient details in the EMR system Educate patients on procedures and address any questions or concerns Maintain compliance with HIPAA, AIUM, and facility safety protocols Conduct regular equipment checks and report any issues Stay updated on sonography best practices and technology developments Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field Certification through ARDMS or ARRT (S) Delaware state licensure as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, if applicable Experience & Skills At least 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and imaging software Strong anatomical knowledge and technical sonography skills Compassionate communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Flexibility for weekend and on-call shifts Why Join Us?
