Role Description Full-time Associate Veterinarian located in Summerfield, FL. The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care, including wellness exams, vaccinations, diagnostics, treatment, and surgery for small animals. Mentoring will be provided. Responsibilities include creating treatment plans, educating clients on pet care, and fostering strong client-patient relationships. Additionally, the role involves collaboration with the veterinary team to maintain a positive work culture and uphold the clinic’s standards of compassionate and high-quality care. Qualifications Proficiency in performing wellness exams, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans Hands-on experience with surgical procedures and utilization of diagnostic tools such as ultrasound and digital radiography Strong communication skills to educate and build trust with clients about pet care and treatment options Commitment to providing compassionate care while maintaining patient health and safety and transparency DVM or equivalent degree and active veterinary license in the state of Florida and USDA accreditation A proactive mindset, ability to work collaboratively in a team, and dedication to creating a positive work environment
