Strong experience in external ventricular drainage (EVD) and intracranial pressure (ICP) management is required. Experience in post-angiogram care and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) is essential. Candidate should be flexible with shifts, including the possibility of rotating day and night shifts. There may be a hardship shift depending on the assignment timeframe. Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine clinical fit. If a candidate passes the clinical review and meets guidelines, they will be forwarded for the manager's final decision. Interviews will be conducted by the manager. Candidate must be willing to float to other ICUs if needed. The unit provides care to critically ill patients, including stroke patients and those recovering from neurosurgery. The unit handles various procedures, including ICP monitoring, craniotomy care, and neuro-endovascular surgery. Candidates may be asked to care for patients with COVID-19. Facility is tobacco and fragrance-free. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Max requested time off is 7 days. The hospital is known for having a supportive interdisciplinary team, including respiratory services and pharmacy. Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. This position requires management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction and failure. Experience with complex medication titration and ventilator management is required. Candidates should also have experience in administering blood products and managing central lines. Knowledge of infection prevention and isolation protocols is essential.
