In this role, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to create innovative menus and prepare delicious, from-scratch meals. The ideal candidate is creative, a strong leader, and strives for excellence. If you have a passion for cooking and leading, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:Create innovative menus according to the seasonal availability of ingredients and customer expectationsPrepare and plate food according to kitchen specificationsAssist Executive Chef with kitchen operations with a goal of increasing revenue and profitSupervise and coordinate all food preparation and presentationProvide training and leadership for kitchen staffMaintain appropriate levels of inventory and negotiate with vendors to get high-quality products at the best priceFollow all food safety rules and regulationsQualifications:High school diploma/GEDExtensive previous culinary experienceServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification Required (can be completed through employment)Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes preferredAbility to remain calm and thrive under pressureExcellent management and leadership skills
