Perform maternal and fetal assessments, including fetal heart rate monitoring and interpretation; identify changes in patient condition and escalate per protocol. Support obstetric interventions and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team. Educate and support patients and families throughout the birth experience, including postpartum recovery and newborn care basics. Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and efficiently in Allscripts EMR.
