We are looking for a Senior Telecommunications BIM Specialist to join our team, focusing on delivering cutting-edge designs for some of the world's most advanced facilities. Experience flexibility in any Jacobs office across the U.S. Your Role: Deliver design, modeling, and documentation services for telecom systems in advanced facility projects. Utilize your Revit expertise while adhering to Jacobs and client BIM standards. Employ Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD to develop and manage fully coordinated 3D BIM models across all design disciplines (C, S, A, M, E, P, T, I, L). Generate 2D construction drawings and guarantee clash-free, constructible deliverables. Work closely with designers, discipline leads, architects, and engineers to transform design intent into successful outcomes. Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in telecommunications BIM design for complex facilities. Expertise in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 8 years of BIM design experience. At least 4 years of relevant experience in telecommunications systems design and the construction industry. Familiarity with design codes and standards. Understanding design and construction specifications. Knowledge of wiring/cabling connections associated with circuits and device equipment links. Experience adhering to client design and modeling standards. Proficient with Bluebeam or similar markup software. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to estimate design and modeling hours based on provided instructions or verbal requests. Willingness to learn and grow. Preferred Qualifications: At least 6 years of experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD design. Understanding of cleanroom and data center environments. Familiarity with design and experience in paging, intercom, and audio-visual systems. Experience in life safety and security systems such as fire alarms, access control, and closed-circuit television (CCTV). Knowledge of control systems and network components and topologies.
