Join Our Innovative OCI Business Operations Tooling Team! In this key role within the OCI Business Operations Tooling development team, you will be crucial in driving operational excellence and shaping Oracle's vibrant cloud landscape. Your contributions will lead to significant impacts and support essential business strategies. Enhance the growth of OCI by creating tools that generate measurable outcomes and improve daily operations. Establish standards and best practices while working closely with senior leadership to showcase your expertise. Engage in exciting AI and cloud-native initiatives within a results-oriented team environment. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to transform research code into production-ready services and repeatable processes. Configure and manage key cloud resources within OCI, including IAM policies, VCNs, access rules, logging, and monitoring. Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for R and Python applications using OCI DevOps, Git-based workflows, and Artifact Registry. Containerize applications with tools such as Docker or Build Service, ensuring consistent deployment practices. Set up and manage static web hosting utilizing OCI Object Storage, CDN, and DNS configuration. Bring practical cloud experience, preferably with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure; familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP is also acceptable. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of advanced data pipelines and platforms, from requirements gathering to delivery. Architect, build, and enhance large-scale, reliable, and secure data workflows on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure using services like OCI Data Flow, Data Integration, and Autonomous Data Warehouse. Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to develop scalable and efficient solutions. Lead the investigation and adoption of new Oracle cloud-native technologies to support ongoing process improvements. Ensure compliance with Oracle's security, privacy, and data management protocols while proactively identifying risks. Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of learning and excellence. Prepare and present technical proposals and optimization recommendations to technical and business leaders. Translate business needs into actionable solutions. Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing to enhance technical understanding across the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. 5+ years of data engineering experience with a proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale data platforms in cloud environments. Strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Autonomous Data Warehouse, Oracle Database, and data integration tools. Extensive experience in data modeling, warehousing, ETL/ELT design patterns, and building production-grade data solutions with Oracle products. Deep understanding of data security, privacy, and best practices for regulated enterprises. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a history of cross-team collaboration. Experience in mentoring or advocating for best practices in data engineering. Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing migration projects or building new data platforms on OCI. Knowledge of Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Machine Learning, and DevOps practices for data workflows. Professional Oracle certifications in cloud data management or related fields. Note: Certain U.S. customer or client-facing roles may require compliance with relevant immunization and occupational health mandates. This role offers a salary range from $96,800 to $223,400 per annum, with potential eligibility for bonuses and equity.
