Overview: Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Director of Dining Services, where you will lead the food service department in enhancing the lives of residents in a long-term care facility. Responsibilities: Oversee and optimize the food service program, ensuring top quality and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of financials, food supplies, and team performance using HCSG software. Conduct training sessions and perform various food service roles as needed, including dietary aide and cook. Effectively communicate with client managers, residents, and staff about service operations. Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed, including proper use of protective gear and cleaning solutions. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sanitary work environment. Demonstrate consistent attendance, punctuality, and timely task completion. Foster positive interactions with supervisors, co-workers, and residents. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the dining service team. Qualifications: Associate's degree or higher in food service management or hospitality is preferred. Two years of relevant experience in food production and personnel supervision is preferred. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification is a plus, or as required by state law. Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) certification within the first 14 days of employment. Must secure Food Service Manager (FSM) and Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM) certifications within the first 60 days of employment. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Must maintain a positive attitude and effectively collaborate with various stakeholders. Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Familiarity with basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting. May need to complete an approved sanitation and safety course. Residency within the service area is required. Are You Ready to Make a Difference?
