The Recreational Therapist is responsible for displaying good skills in recreational assessment treatment planning group and individual therapy. Additionally he/she is responsible for functioning well as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Qualifications 1 year experience in Mental health in an acute hospital setting. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in related field. BLS certification required. Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) Good overall interpersonal skills ability to work productively and effectively ability to function well as a member of an interdisciplinary team ability to represent the program well in interaction both inside and outside the hospital. Experience with EMR. Bilingual skills in Spanish or Armenian preferred.
