Manufacturing Process Technician We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Process Technician to support the manufacturing processes in our dynamic and innovative environment. This role is essential in ensuring adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and compliance with quality regulations and guidelines. Responsibilities Support product manufacturing and related support activities. Complete routine documentation associated with product manufacturing. Assist in in-process activities and product development as directed by a supervisor. Incorporate pre-planned process improvements and cost reduction programs into manufacturing. Perform equipment and process validations according to validation procedures. Conduct in-process product testing following standard procedures. Support manufacturing activities in other departments as instructed by a supervisor. Ensure all job duties are performed in a compliant and ethical manner, adhering to applicable healthcare laws and regulations. Incorporate the company's values and essential principles in all activities and interactions. Essential Skills Knowledge of cGMP operations is preferable. Ability to understand and execute established written instructions is essential. Basic math skills including knowledge of the metric system. Computer competencies, including basic Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word knowledge. Good written and verbal communication skills. Training or experience in understanding the risks of processing, handling, and storing hazardous materials. Ability to operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School diploma or Associate Degree with a minimum of five years of relevant manufacturing experience, or a Bachelor's Degree in a science discipline with one to three years of experience. Experience in a GMP warehouse or pharmaceutical industry preferred. Experience with a computerized inventory system such as SAP is a plus. Good organizational skills with the ability to execute a work plan and adapt to schedule changes. Work Environment The role requires the ability to climb, balance, stoop, reach, stand, and walk. You must be able to push, lift, grasp, finger, and feel, and you should possess strong verbal and written communication skills. There is a requirement for repetitive movements, including substantial movement of wrists, hands, and fingers. You must be capable of lifting up to 10 pounds occasionally. The working environment includes various physical conditions such as noise, close proximity to moving parts and equipment, and exposure to chemicals, odors, fumes, and dust. Visual acuity is necessary for tasks such as reading, writing, analyzing, and ensuring the accuracy and neatness of work. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Raleigh, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
