HVAC Field Service And Installation Manager A highly established local Heating and Air Conditioning Company is looking to fill an HVAC Field Service and Installation Manager position. Position Overview: HVAC Field Service and Installation Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing both service and installation in the field. This role requires leadership ability, technical expertise, and customer service experience to ensure high-quality service delivery and effective installation of HVAC systems. The Manager will supervise a team of technicians for both demand services and installation projects. This is not an Office or Remote role. Salary is: $140-200k+ Depending on experience. Key Responsibilities: Supervise techs on installations, maintenance, and service of commercial heating and air conditioning systems in commercial establishments. Assist with the training and development of junior technicians Work alongside technicians performing installation and service Quality control of installation and service performed by technicians Act as top level troubleshooter and technical resource for technicians Work closely with manufacturers and tech support Requirements: Minimum 10 years field experience BOTH servicing and installing Commercial HVAC Systems Superior troubleshooting ability on: Packaged rooftop units to 50 tons Split systems to 50 tons Packaged reciprocating and scroll chillers to 100 tons Water source heat pumps Condenser water systems Hot and chilled water air handlers, pumps and piping systems. VRF systems Ability to interface with Fortune 500 Corporate Contacts Knowledge of Novar, TCS Basys, Bacnet, Lightstat, controls is a definite plus. Additional Work Requirements: Full-time position, with occasional overtime or weekend work required, depending on service and installation needs. Availability to be on-call for emergency service or installation requests after hours and on weekends. Must be able to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments, including basements, and rooftops. A valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites and customer locations.
