Subcontract Administrator You will be a Subcontract Administrator for our team, responsible for managing and administering subcontracts to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and maintaining effective relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. As a Subcontract Administrator, you will be responsible for developing, negotiating, and administering subcontracts, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, and building and maintaining effective relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. You will work closely with our team to identify, assess, and mitigate subcontract-related risks, and resolve subcontract-related issues, disputes, or claims in a timely and professional manner. Your responsibilities will include: Develop, negotiate, and administer subcontracts, including preparing and issuing subcontract documents Ensure subcontractors comply with contractual requirements, including terms and conditions, deliverables, and performance standards Build and maintain effective relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders Identify, assess, and mitigate subcontract-related risks, including performance, financial, and reputational risks Resolve subcontract-related issues, disputes, or claims in a timely and professional manner Manage subcontract closeout activities, including ensuring completion of all deliverables, payment of final invoices, and obtaining necessary documentation Ensure subcontracts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of subcontract information, including contract documents, performance data, and payment history Provide regular updates and reports to internal stakeholders on subcontract status, issues, and concerns Continuously evaluate and improve subcontract administration processes and procedures to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance This position is in Lexington, KY. Must be a U.S. citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start. Basic qualifications include: 4 years' experience in Government Contracts/Subcontracts Strong background in T&M Labor Contracts Working knowledge of Service Contract Acts applications Ability to conduct data analysis or research and/or understanding of negotiations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated critical thinking / problem solving abilities Ability to work both independently and within a team structure Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Power Point, Word, Excel) Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment Strong organizational skills Desired skills include: Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARs) Working knowledge of standard US Department of Defense contract types SAP Systems Experience Ability to establish new suppliers and manage supplier performance Strong background is building Compliant PO Folders per CPSR standards Solid experience in Proposal Negotiations Supplier Risk management Conflict Resolution This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance level: Secret. Ability to work remotely: Part-time remote telework. The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
