The Judge Group is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Georgetown, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel General Comments Unit Profiles: The purpose of a unit profile is to help provide an exceptional understanding of the unit.  Profiles will include location, number of beds, patient rations, and other unique details to assist recruiting professional in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff.   Below you will find a data collection tool to help you identify essential data needed to complete your profile.  Data Collection: Unit Information:  Location: St. David’s Georgetown Hospital Building: Floor: Emergency Department Order Detail: Facility Department Number: 78067 Discipline: RN Quantity: 0 Target Start Date: N/A Shift: N/A Call Requirements: None Weekends: 4 weekend shifts per schedule General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 23 Number of Staff – 40 Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 CNC/5 RN/1 Paramedic/1 PCT (staffing fluctuates based on patient volume) Midshift- 4 RN (staffing fluctuates based on patient volume) Night Shift – 1 CNC/5 RN/1 Paramedic/1PCT (staffing fluctuates based on patient volume) Patient Ratios – 4:1 Type of equipment – Welch Allyn/GE EMR – Meditech Permanent Positions on Unit Avaliable? (Y/N) – None Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for:  (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.  ALS/BLS/TNCC/ENPC or PALS 1 year ED experience Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.  2 years ED experience ENPC versus PALS List typical procedures performed on unit(s):   Cardioversion, TNK, Moderate Sedation     Best personality Fit:  Team player, flexible, positive demeanor, upbeat Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. Scrub Color -  Navy Blue Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Unit policies align with HCA Policy/Procedures. Awards/Recognition:  Feel free to include items such as links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards, reigning annual chili cook-off winners, etc.  Awarded Unit ICARE in 2023   Certified Primary Stroke Center/Level IV Trauma Center/2023 Mission: Lifeline Systems of Care Recognition (AHA CAD performance). Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: SDGH ED is comprised of a well-balanced tenure of nursing staff (newly graduated nurses – 30+ year commitment). Our secret is our ability to maintain our small town hospital flair (close knit culture) while embracing community growth. During COVID, SDGH ED did not lose a single staff member to travel nursing, something we are proud of. We have dedicated CNC’s on our unit who help support unit team members, to include self-scheduling which is a huge satisfier. We have a tremendous group of Providers who collaborate well with nursing and participate in our Unit Based Council on a monthly basis.
