HR Coordinator Salary Range: $17.07 - $20.70 Hourly Level: Experienced Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Day Education Level: High School Travel Percentage: None Category: Other Description Position Summary The Human Resource Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Human Resources department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (This list is not intended to detail all aspects of the assigned work but is representative of the job's overall responsibilities.) Post employment opportunities on the company website, outside vendor resources, and lobby area. Daily review of HRIS for new applicants, reviews applicant qualifications, and refers qualified applicants to supervisors for further consideration. Support employees with questions and concerns within the HRIS system. Communicates and uses people's skills to interact with coworkers, supervisors, and the public to efficiently convey and exchange information in a positive and professional manner. Maintains and updates documentation to HRIS system and files according to record retention guidelines, initiates IT requests, ensures historical data, backup and retrieval of data utilizing multiple types of office equipment. Answers incoming telephone calls, determine the need and purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department. Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness include the ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness and pivot service as needed. Manages departmental supplies, purchase orders reconcile monthly credit statement and handles daily incoming and outgoing mail Occasionally work a flexible work schedule outside the normal business hours to include evenings and in some cases schedule changes on short notice. Attends and represents the organization at job fairs to support recruitment efforts, as required Extremely busy work atmosphere, handle lobby traffic and inbound phone calls while quickly adjusting to a changing environment. Strict confidentiality is required at all times. Oversees and coordinates the Travel Reduction Program and monthly drawings in accordance with Maricopa County directives. Maintains a consistent record of acceptable attendance and punctuality according to policy guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. One-year certificate from college or technical school; or Two -years directly related experience and training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must have experience with HRIS systems. Systems experience with Paycom is highly preferred. Must have solid working knowledge with Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing creating, communicating, and conveying business information, and procedural manuals to employees, co-workers, and supervisors. Ability to provide same communications bilingually to our Spanish speaking employees is required. Physical Demands Work is conducted in a dynamic, fast-paced office setting with moderate level noise.
