The General Manager of Restaurant Operations is vital to our restaurant's success, overseeing daily operations and ensuring adherence to our high standards. Your responsibilities will encompass product preparation, guest interactions, restaurant maintenance, inventory management, team leadership, recruitment, financial oversight, and fostering a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities Include: Optimize operations to create value for shareholders through efficient processes, cost management, and profit maximization. Deliver outstanding Quality, Service, Cleanliness, and Hospitality by engaging with guests and ensuring availability of menu items during peak hours. Actively participate in guest service and relations, ensuring staff uphold standards of appearance and customer interactions. Manage daily operations by monitoring labor and product costs, maintaining inventory, and scheduling employees as per guidelines. Enhance productivity through effective recruitment, training, and motivation of team members. Implement a routine preventative maintenance program for equipment and facilities. Prepare and submit necessary reports while employing approved cash control and security measures. Oversee recruitment processes, conduct interviews, recommend hiring decisions, and ensure employee performance is documented and formative. Ensure compliance with OSHA, local health and safety regulations, and company policies. Job Requirements: The ideal candidate will have: A strong commitment to delivering excellent guest service. Effective communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. Exceptional ability to build and develop teams. Basic proficiency in business math and analytical decision-making. Basic computer literacy. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred; a college degree is a plus. Additionally, you should have: 1-4 years of supervisory experience in a food or retail environment with Profit & Loss responsibilities. Other Requirements: Follow operational procedures for restaurant equipment (e.g., fryers, ovens). Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and carry items up to 30 feet. Ability to push/pull up to 90 lbs. and carry items over 30 feet. Knowledge of and adherence to HR policies. Compliance with all safety requirements at the local, state, and federal levels.
