We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Cash Analyst.Job Responsibilities and Duties:Accurately and promptly post all resident-related payments, including cash, checks, credit cards, and EFTs, to the appropriate accounts. Review EOBs and post or transfer balances for co-pays, deductibles, contractual adjustments, and related items. Reconcile daily deposits with posted batches and identify any discrepancies requiring follow-up. Assist with month-end close by ensuring all cash activity is properly reflected in accounts receivable within reporting timelines. Scan, store, and maintain permanent A/R reports in accordance with company record retention policies. Cross-train and provide support in other business office areas to help meet departmental goals. Collaborate with facility staff to clarify payment sources, resolve posting discrepancies, and request documentation when necessary. Support internal audits by providing accurate posting data and timely record access. Maintain compliance with HIPAA and company confidentiality policies at all times. Keep organized, accurate, and legible records to support internal and external review. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and compliance-related sessions as required. Requirements:Previous experience in healthcare accounts receivable, billing, or cash posting required; skilled nursing facility experience strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word). Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) or similar electronic medical billing platforms preferred. High attention to detail with the ability to work quickly, accurately, and under tight deadlines. Strong organizational and analytical abilities, including reconciliation skills. Ability to prioritize tasks independently while supporting team goals and departmental operations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative and professional demeanor. Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and resident rights. Ability to use a computer and phone for extended periods and move intermittently throughout the workday. Adequate visual and auditory acuity for written and verbal communication.
