THE JOB: Join the dynamic MassMutual Center team as a Tech Utility, where you'll play a vital role in creating memorable guest experiences by setting up various elements such as chairs, bleachers, carpeting, portable flooring, hockey dashers, and ice-making setups. Your attention to detail and ability to follow directives will contribute to the smooth operation of our events, ensuring everything is in place for an outstanding atmosphere. STARTING PAY: $16.00 per hour THE DAY-TO-DAY: Set chairs, bleachers, carpeting, portable flooring, hockey dashers, ice making, etc. as directed Store equipment in pre-designated areas Perform minor maintenance on equipment used for setting and striking events Maintain the highest standards to ensure the quality and cleanliness in the arena, convention spaces, public areas, offices, and other areas Keeps assigned areas clean of debris and removes trash, including emptying and cleaning ashtrays/urns and trashcans Keep all equipment properly maintained, clean, and free of marks THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: 1+ Years of prior relevant Tech Utility experience is preferred Able and willing to work variable shifts, to include weekends and holidays. Scheduling is based on events held on property Prior work experience related to setting up and taking down room set-ups within banquets, event halls or meeting services areas Takes pride in their work Looks forward to working with a team to provide positive experiences Can handle multiple tasks at one time PERKS & BENEFITS: Free meals in our employee dining room. VIEW JOB DESCRIPTION: Pay Rate The rate for this role is: $16.00 This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage. Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
