Accounts Payable Specialist

Accounts Payable Specialist (6-Month Contract) Schedule: MondayFriday | 7:30 AM 4:00 PM Pay Rate - $22-$25/hr. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist for a 6-month contract opportunity. Essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): Provide receptionist backup support when necessary Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and promptly Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment Assist with special projects and additional tasks as assigned Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and chargebacks Process vendor rebates Assist Shared Services with processing paper and EDI inventory invoices Process and allocate expense invoices accurately and timely manner Support corporate financial officers and branch personnel as needed Qualifications: Education and/or experience: High school diploma or GED required. 13 years of related accounts payable or accounting experience required.
