Web Application Developer

The Web Application Developer is responsible for creating, enhancing, and maintaining web and mobile applications utilizing .NET technologies and Microsoft Azure. In this role, you will support the ongoing enhancements of multiple mobile applications initially developed by external contractors. You will be required to understand existing codebases, resolve issues, and add new features using .NET MAUI. Collaborate closely with senior developers to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions that drive our business operations. All duties will be performed in accordance with company policies and applicable federal and state regulations. The target pay range for this role is $95,000.00 to $130,000.00. Your Responsibilities: Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.NET Core and C#. Support and enhance existing mobile applications through .NET MAUI. Analyze and improve mobile app codebases provided by third-party contractors. Implement new features, fix bugs, and enhance performance. Assist in developing RESTful APIs and integrate mobile and web clients. Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures. Deploy and manage applications using Azure App Services, Functions, and other cloud resources. Utilize Git or Azure DevOps for source control and participate in code reviews. Follow secure coding practices and assist in troubleshooting application issues. Collaborate with senior developers, QA testers, and product stakeholders. Prepare and update technical documentation as necessary. Stay updated with Microsoft technologies, particularly .NET MAUI and cloud tools. What You’ll Need: Solid software and web development skills. Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Core, MVC, Web API, and object-oriented programming principles. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design. Able to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Understanding of asynchronous programming and dependency injection. Mobile development experience or strong interest in .NET MAUI, Xamarin, or mobile application development. Ability to maintain and enhance existing mobile apps created by contractors. Knowledge of mobile UI patterns and app lifecycle management on iOS and Android. Experience with Azure services like Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, or SQL Database. Understanding of cloud deployment processes and basic CI/CD workflows. Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration, with familiarity in Swagger/OpenAPI documentation. Ability to thrive in an Agile/Scrum environment. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn from senior engineers. A desire to grow into a more senior role or focus on mobile engineering. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is required. 2 to 4 years of experience in .NET development. Experience or interest in mobile development with .NET MAUI. Preferred experience with Azure cloud services. A proactive team player with strong communication skills and self-motivation.
