Accounts Payable Manager

Title: Accounts Payable, Manager  Location: Bethlehem/Allentown Corporate Office. Hybrid schedule, 2 days work from home (Mon/Fri), 3 days in office (Tues/Wed/Thurs).  Company: Global medical device manufacturer, with flagship devices used in all aspects of acute and non-acute patient care. Responsibilities: Manage a team of accounts payable clerks that calculate amounts owed or due, receive or distribute invoices or bills, and maintain records of payments to or from the organization. Lead and direct the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions. Ensure all transactions are accurate and posted to organizational ledgers in a timely manner. Establish standard operating procedures and project manage process improvements.  Ensure accurate administration of established policies and procedures. Participate in monitoring & influencing key performance metrics, and implementing procedural changes. Align global multi-site office systems, policies, and procedures. Provide direct supervision to a group of employees, assigning tasks and checking work at frequent intervals. Team management across work and people scheduling, performance management and recommendations for hiring decisions. Requirements:  Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience 10-12 years related Account Payable experience required. 3-5+ years leadership experience of an Accounts Payable teams required. Expert level knowledge of Excel and data management systems.  SAP and Power BI experience preferred Compensation: Base salary, depending on experience, $90-110k + 10% bonus and full benefits.
