Job DescriptionIndustrial Maintenance MechanicSherwood, TN (On-site)Full-Time We are seeking a skilled industrial maintenance mechanic for a Sherwood, TN plant. This hands-on position maintains and repairs all plant equipment while ensuring safe and efficient operations. Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all plant equipment (including crushing systems and production lines) Conduct electrical work, welding, and troubleshooting Maintain conveyor systems, hydraulics, and mobile equipment Read blueprints and complete maintenance reports Enforce safety policies and maintain housekeeping standards Provide on-the-job training as assigned Requirements: High School Diploma or GED (proof required prior to start date) Welding experience required Strong diesel mechanical and electrical skills Experience with hydraulics, conveyors, and mobile equipment repair (including crushing systems and production lines) Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings Available for any shift, including weekends, on-call rotation, and overtime 5-7 years heavy maintenance experience in mining/industrial environment preferred Associates degree in mechanical technology or technical trade school preferred Heavy equipment operation experience Ability to lift over 50 lbs. consistently Ability to work at heights up to 120 feet and in confined spaces Ability to tolerate extreme temperatures, noise, dust, and fumes Must be able to pass a drug screening, physicals, and MSHA 24-hour Benefits: Weekly pay Healthcare coverages available #Experienced25 Additional Information SmallBiz Staffing specializes in connecting great people with great jobs!
