Transmission Line Engineer

Job Description Growing full service firm looking to add a talented Transmission Line QA/QC Engineer to their Pittsburgh office! Responsibilities: Oversee design reviews/validation procedures Ensure accuracy and safety of the design of high voltage transmission lines using PLS-CADD Establish quality standards aligned with industry best practices Develop/implement quality control procedures Mentor/train junior staff with varying levels of experience Champion QA/QC processes to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality engineering outputs Communicate with project managers to align quality goals with schedule/budget Requirements: Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering or engineering technology 8+ years of transmission engineering experience Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) Proficient in PLS CADD Expert in the analysis of transmission structures Ability to comprehend and interpret safety codes, utility standards and regulations Ability to optimize complex systems and workflows Ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences and drive cross-functional collaboration Valid Driver's License is required Salary is commensurate with experience.
