Highlights of the Role: Competitive Pay: Up to $46 per hour DOE Work Environment: Part Time to Full Time, on-site in Eugene, OR Impactful Work: Lead nursing assistants and ensure top-quality care in a long-term care setting. Position Information: Department: Nursing Work Arrangement: Full Onsite Shift: Sunday, Wednesday, Friday Primary Responsibilities: Obtain report from nurse being relieved and records sufficient information to implement appropriate follow up action as necessary Provides report to nurse coming on duty, including sufficient information for follow-up action if necessary Conducts resident rounds, reporting problems to nursing supervisor and initiating corrective action Administers and documents medication, enteral nutrition and treatment per physician order and accurately records all care provided and observations daily Performs comprehensive assessments of each resident on unit Reviews and approves admission and re-admission nursing assessments completed by an LPN Develops care plan based on each resident's assessment Obtains physician orders and any revisions for all treatment and medications needed Assesses on a weekly basis the skin condition, stage, size, site, depth, color, drainage and odor of condition Renders immediate assistance to any resident in need Supervise and evaluate all direct resident care and initiates corrective action as necessary Provides clinical supervision of nursing assistants providing direct patient care Assumes responsibility for compliance with federal, state and local regulations within the assigned unit Counsels nursing assistants and communicates clearly with Clinical Nurse Managers and/or Director of Nursing if issues ari Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to assure that high quality resident care is maintained Prepares nurse assistant assignments and explains all pertinent resident care Supervises distribution of nourishments Supervises the removal of all postural supports Orders, receives and documents medication according to facility procedure Supervises response to residents calls for assistance and responds to call lights as necessary Insures that all physician renewal orders and physician documentation is timely and appropriate Prerequisites: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse school of nursing Current and active RN license in the state of Oregon Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support in accordance with AHS or ARC standards Knowledge of Geriatric Nursing required Benefits with CareNational: Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Weekly Pay Referral Bonus 401(k) Matching If you're passionate about providing high-quality care, apply today, and one of our recruiters will reach out to you immediately! #LI-NATIONAL #LI-ONSITE
