Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - IMC Inpatient Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Must be able to work various days of the week • Work every third weekend • Holiday requirements: minimum 2 major and 2 minor holidays • Must have experience caring for IMCU (Intermediate Care Unit) patients • May float to Med/Surg units as needed • Required licenses and certifications: Georgia RN license or Multi-state Compact RN license • Required certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) • Associates or Diploma in Nursing required (Bachelor's preferred) • Direct patient care experience preferred • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care • Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care for diverse patient populations • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and bedside shift reporting • Complete timely documentation and maintain clinical competencies • Support evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives • Serve as preceptor/mentor for nursing staff and students as needed Facility: This healthcare facility operates as part of a comprehensive health system that emphasizes evidence-based practice and professional development.
