Heavy Duty Truck Technician / Mechanic-B Level Johnson & TowersBaltimore, MDCompetitive compensation DOE Johnson & Towers, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for a Heavy Duty Truck mechanic at our location in Baltimore, Maryland. This individual can be looking to start their career or have previous experience as a technician. Indel Power Group is a distributor/dealer for major brands such as mtu, Detroit Diesel, Allison Transmission, Cummins, Caterpillar, Volvo Penta, Freightliner, Western Star, Isuzu, Autocar, and Crane Carrier to name a few. Key Responsibilities Perform skilled tasks in the diagnosis of commercial brakes and suspension, DOT inspections, etc. Repair documentation, record keeping, and accurate service reporting Use OEM software, tools, and technologies to maintain, diagnose, and complete repairs to promptly address and resolve customer vehicle or equipment concerns Commitment to safety and cleanliness Maintain open communication with management team regarding job status, updates, and changes Requirements Experience with Isuzu engine and chassis repairs is highly preferred Ability to mentor and support junior or lower level technicians as needed. Strong communication skills, a customer focused approach, and a goal-oriented mindset.
