Highway Project Engineer, PE

Highway Project Engineer - We are looking for a team member in our Transportation Design Group with the desire to grow within our Highway Department. Responsibilities: Lead the design team developing roadway improvements for highway-related projects Coordinate design elements over multiple disciplines Plan, coordinate, and oversee project team scheduling and progress Review and seal plans, specifications, and estimates for contract bidding as Engineer of Record Complete designated assignments and report progress to project managers Mentor, review, and check work of junior staff Perform field views and attend on-site and off-site meetings Participate in proposal development, project scoping, and project staffing projections Work collaboratively with other team members, consultants, and our clients Attend professional organization meetings to build relationships and assist with business development Perform complex design functions Monitor the performance of projects, including quality, schedule, and budget Knowledge of construction techniques Qualifications: Minimum 6 years of direct experience in the design of transportation projects BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university is required PE license required Strong work ethic Ability to work in a team environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills MicroStation and InRoads or OpenRoads experience required Ability to perform project site visits PennDOT experience required #LI-TW1
