Interventional Endoscopy PA

Job Summary Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our high performing Interventional Endoscopy team. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with call responsibilities. This role offers diverse clinical exposure through close collaboration with multiple specialties, including Gastroenterology, Oncology/Cancer Services, Pathology, Radiology, and Surgical Services. Core Job ResponsibilitiesHelp run and optimize a strong and established direct to procedure program Assist with consults Round on patients and write notes Answer triage calls and pages Perform follow-up visits as medically indicated Attend departmental meetings Collaborative working environment in a teaching hospital with residents and medical students Working with an exceptionally talented physician Call responsibilities Education/Experience RequirementsREQUIRED: Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program OR certification from an accredited NP program OR completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program required. Ability to meet and maintain credentialing requirements and hospital priviledges. Knowledge and competency in a wide range of clinical areas. Familiar with EHR/EMR software. Licensure/Certification RequirementsREQUIRED: Current NYS license as a Physician Assistant with prescription privileges. Current BCLS, ACLS certifications.
