Job DescriptionProgressive Care Unit (PCU) RN Locations: Rock Hill, SC | Fort Mill, SC Employment Type: Full-Time | Nights & Days Available Shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Pay Range: $33 - $46/hour (based on experience) Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Full-Time, paid out over 24 months) Position Summary Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurses for openings for a valued clients hospital facilities in Rock Hill, SC and Fort Mill, SC. As a PCU RN, you will provide direct patient care, collaborate with the healthcare team, and play a critical role in ensuring positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities Provide assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Monitor and record patient vital signs and symptoms. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and implement appropriate interventions. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Educate patients and families regarding care plans, medications, and ongoing recovery needs. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements. Support performance improvement and patient safety initiatives. Qualifications Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Experience: Previous PCU, step-down, or acute care experience preferred. Experience as a CNA or Med Tech may be considered toward years of experience. Licensure & Certifications: Current Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state of residence required. If licensed in another Compact State, must obtain Multi-State RN License in state of residence within 30 days. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 7 days of hire. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required within orientation period. RN-C or CCRN certification preferred. Skills & Abilities: Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
