Industrial Electronics Bench Technician

Are you an Industrial Electronics Bench Technician looking to advance your career with a growing, hands-on team in Mishawaka? We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electronics Bench Technician to diagnose and repair a wide range of industrial electronic equipment, including AC drives, DC drives, servo drives, HMIs, controllers, and circuit boards. This role requires strong component-level troubleshooting skills, excellent soldering abilities, and the capability to research and source compatible replacement components as needed. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair electronic units down to the component level. Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators. Identify, test, and replace faulty electronic components. Perform research to find and validate compatible alternative parts when necessary. Document testing results, repairs performed, and parts used or required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Support other tasks and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience as an Industrial Electronics Bench Technician. Strong soldering skills and steady hand coordination. Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and OEM manuals. Strong component-level troubleshooting abilities. Self-motivated and capable of working independently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Computer literacy and comfort with diagnostic software. Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment. Working Conditions Primary work is performed at a bench in a climate-controlled environment. Occasional travel to customer sites or other areas within the facility may be required.
