About the Job ESS-318 Safety Representative New Albany, OH Job Title: Safety RepresentativePay: Based on Experience Schedule: 5/10s, may shift to 6/10s Join the team at Environmental and Safety Solutions Inc., a quality-driven and client-focused safety firm supporting a large construction project in Jeffersonville, OH. We're seeking a Field Safety Rep with a strong background in safety leadership and a proactive mindset. Key Responsibilities:Assist in developing and implementing safety strategies and emergency response plans. Conduct safety meetings, audits, inspections, and behavioral observations. Support incident investigations and assist in creating corrective actions. Coordinate safety activities with subcontractors and vendors. Ensure compliance with OSHA 1926 and other regulatory standards. Maintain and distribute updated safety documentation and communication. Utilize digital tools (tablets, smartphones, apps) for field documentation. Qualifications:Must have 3-5 years' experience with electrical work. Bachelor's degree in Safety or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of construction safety experience preferred. Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Able to work 50+ hours/week, including some nights and weekends. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Preferred Certifications:OSHA 510-Hour (Trainer Certification a plus), 70E. CPR/First Aid/AED. CHST, ASP, or CSP designation. Environmental and Safety Solutions Inc.
