Stoltzfus Meats is seeking a Packaging Specialist to support packaging operations at our Gordonville production facility. This role focuses on ensuring products are packaged accurately, labeled correctly, and prepared for storage or shipment according to company standards.The Packaging Specialist serves as a key support role in the packing department, helping maintain efficiency, accuracy, and organization on the packaging line. This position works closely with the Packing Supervisor and Line Lead to ensure packaging equipment, materials, and workflow remain consistent and reliable.Key Responsibilities Package finished products according to company specificationsVerify labeling accuracy, product codes, and packaging requirementsAssist with setup and operation of packaging equipmentMonitor packaging materials and supply levelsMaintain organized packing and staging areasInspect packaged products for quality and consistencyFollow food safety, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation proceduresAssist with product staging for shippingSupport Line Leads and supervisors with packaging workflowCommunicate packaging or equipment issues promptly Qualifications Manufacturing, packaging, or food production experience preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracyMechanical aptitude helpfulAbility to follow procedures and instructionsDependable and team-orientedAbility to work in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to work in refrigerated production environmentsAbility to perform repetitive packaging tasks Equal Opportunity Employer:Stoltzfus Meats is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
