DescriptionRegistered Behavior Technician (RBT)Location: In-Person / On-Premise Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Reports To: BCBA/Clinical Supervisor Overview The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct, one-on-one ABA therapy services to clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). RBTs play a vital role in implementing individualized treatment plans, collecting accurate data, and documenting clinical services to support meaningful progress for clients. This role is ideal for compassionate, dependable individuals who are committed to clinical excellence, consistency, and ethical service delivery. Position Summary The Registered Behavior Technician is responsible for implementing behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs as designed by the supervising BCBA. This role requires consistent application of treatment protocols, accurate data collection, and timely, detailed clinical documentation. Success in this role is measured by treatment integrity, competency in skill implementation, accuracy of clinical notes, and reliable attendance. Key Responsibilities Clinical Implementation Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention programs as designed by the supervising BCBA Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy in accordance with clinical and ethical standards Follow all treatment protocols with fidelity to ensure consistency and effectiveness Actively participate in ongoing supervision, training, and competency evaluations Data Collection & Documentation Collect accurate and timely data on client behavior and skill acquisition Complete clinical session notes and documentation in accordance with clinic policies and payer requirements Ensure documentation is completed accurately and within required timelines Professional Conduct & Collaboration Maintain professional, ethical behavior in all interactions with clients, families, and team members Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding client progress, concerns, and session outcomes Adhere to clinic policies, attendance expectations, and scheduling requirements Performance & Success Metrics Success in this role will be measured by: Competency and treatment integrity during clinical implementation Accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of clinical documentation Consistent and reliable attendance Required Qualifications Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing Non-RBTs with existing ABA experience must have completed the 40 hour RBT training within the last 30 calendar days and provide a certificate of completion Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Ability to implement treatment plans with accuracy and consistency Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocols Reliable transportation and ability to adhere to assigned schedules Strong communication skills and professional conduct Preferred Qualifications Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities Experience in a clinic-based ABA therapy setting Familiarity with ABA data collection and clinical documentation systems Key Competencies High treatment fidelity and attention to detail Dependable and punctual Ethical and professional Strong observational and data collection skills Willingness to learn and accept feedback Work Schedule & Availability Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM Flexible. Hours are contingent upon client availability and not guaranteed.
