Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Aurora, CO (in a Hospital) Length: 13 weeks Shift Hours: 10 hours Shift: Day, Evening, Night (Rotating) 06:00am - 16:30pm 12:00pm - 22:30pm 20:00pm - 06:30pm Experience Requirements: 1+ year of experience as a Maintenance Technician Job Description: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment, facilities, and systems to ensure a safe environment of care. The technician will accurately record and report work performed, adhering to trade practices and codes. This role involves accessing roof areas, basements, equipment rooms, tunnels, crawl spaces, and other minimally accessible areas on a regular basis. Key responsibilities include: Responding to facility emergencies to ensure minimal disruption to patient care and minimize facility damage. This may include emergency duties such as fire control or flooding. Performing general industrial maintenance, including the installation and repair of equipment and devices to ensure proper operation, specific to the healthcare environment. Maintenance tasks may include service and repair work on plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, motors, pumps, electrical systems, pneumatic tube systems, lighting, flooring, window coverings, walls, and other systems. Obtaining and delivering supplies and materials. Performing custodial services in facility areas daily. Performing snow removal as needed. Assisting with moving equipment. Basic troubleshooting will be a part of the role, with more extensive tasks being referred to certified technicians (HVAC, plumber, etc.).
